We headed over to the Malta National Aquarium to see what all the fuss was about, and we ended up finding so much more than just an aquarium. From sharks, stingrays and colourful tropical fish to the incredible nautical-themed outdoor play park, there was plenty to keep the kids entertained for hours. Honestly, the playground alone is worth a visit and it quickly became one of the highlights of our day.
After all that exploring we stopped at La Nave for a drink, and it did not disappoint. Amazing iced coffees, delicious smoothies and the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the sea views.
If you're looking for a family-friendly day out in Malta, this one definitely deserves a place on your list. It sits right on the seafront in Qawra, so it's easy to make an afternoon of it.
