We think this might be the best family-friendly boat trip in Malta, and we came away raving about it. We swam in the crystal-clear water at the Blue Lagoon, explored hidden caves and soaked up some of the most incredible views the islands have to offer. It was one of those experiences we know we'll be talking about for a long time.

The kids absolutely loved every minute, and as parents we loved how relaxed, welcoming and family-friendly the whole thing felt. A big shout out to Elton, who was just amazing and made the day for us. Boats leave from Hondoq Bay near Qala on Gozo, and it's an easy way to see the islands from a completely different perspective.

If you're after a day out that works for the whole family, this is one to add to your Malta bucket list.
