If you're visiting Gozo, this is one place you don't want to miss!
Ġgantija Archaeological Park is over 5,500 years old, making it one of the oldest freestanding monuments in the world and even older than the Egyptian pyramids.
We weren't sure how the kids would find it, but they were fascinated exploring the ancient temples, asking questions and imagining what life was like thousands of years ago. One of our favourite surprises was the children's activity room, which made the visit even more interactive and helped bring the history to life for little ones.
It's the perfect mix of history, culture and a family-friendly day out, proving that exploring the past can be just as exciting as a trip to the beach!
Save this for your next trip to Gozo and follow along as we share the very best family-friendly places, hidden gems and unforgettable experiences across Malta & Gozo. ❤️
